Stainless Steel Jewelry: Inspired by Nature, Machined by NW Etch

One of the great joys of working at NW Etch is getting to see just how creative our partners can be with metal. One of the projects we've partnered with has given us a chance to share in the fine art of metal jewelry. In 2007, the Alucik founders were living in Switzerland and took inspiration for highly detailed, stainless steel jewelry from from nature itself. They experimented with the conversion of hand drawn digital designs into lightweight and durable stainless steel jewelry that is then plated with either .999 silver (with an e-coat to resist tarnishing) or 18kt gold. 

Alucik's artistic exploration developed into stunning earrings, necklaces and pendants that represent the beauty found in nature. From the depths of the ocean and coral reefs to the cavernous mountains and crystals, the jewelry captures the intricate designs and beauty from around the world. The wealth of cultural influences and immersion in nature's diversity reflect in the inspired designs. 

NW Etch of Tacoma WA was selected to produce the high quality jewelry, due to our ability to delicately machine thin metal pieces of complex design without warping the part, or affecting the temper in the process.
